Smith's Mega Event Shopping

In order to eat well at home, you need to cook...hopefully well.  And in order to cook well, you must buy groceries.  In order to spare your budget, you must also then learn to be a savvy shopper. And work with what you can.

Last summer, we began receiving the Sunday newspaper and this, with the help of several amazing websites, I began to menu plan, coupon, write grocery lists, etc. I began to take into account what money I did and didn't have to spend.  It has been fun, I have spent wayyy too much money at times being over-eager, but I have also saved a lot of money.  I have also saved time and have been more creative in the kitchen! This also has meant that I have purchased and tried products before that I never would have considered before; I feel like when things are ~$0.50 (or super discounted), it's as good as a time as any to try it out! 

I tend to stock up when I can, and so I did this week!
