Rolo Pretzel Treats

My grandmother started making these little treats along with her usually delicious cookies during the holidays. They satisfy the need for something a little salty and a little sweet.  AND it involves caramel.  The best thing is it doesn't require you making your own caramel! Yes! I am still holding out on making my own caramel, but it looks so good!

This is so easy. You simply buy a bag of Rolos (which conveniently has the recipe on the back of the bag), a bag of pretzels, and a package of pecans (or pecan halves).  Then head home, warm the oven, and viola! A delicious bite-size combination of all things satisfying!

Rolo Pretzel Delights:
(recipe from The Hershey Company)

Ingredients:

• Small Pretzels
• Pecan Halves
• 1 Bag of Rolo Candies

Directions:

1. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Place 1 Rolo candy on a pretzel on prepared sheet.
3. Bake 3-5 minutes until candy caramels begin to soften (don't let melt).
4. Remove baking sheet and place pecan and softly push pecan on top of candy.
5. Cool completely.

Notes:

• Great, easy treat to bring to potlucks or to give away in tins as gifts!
